As part of its 25th Anniversary celebration in 2011, the Institute has undertaken an aggressive and meaningful calendar of activities highlighting the importance of music education as a tool to encourage children around the world to develop imaginative thinking, creativity, curiosity, a positive self-image and a respect for their own and others' cultural heritage.
The Institute's 25th Anniversary Year Co-Chairs are four of America's most respected citizens from the worlds of politics and diplomacy, media, and music: Madeleine Albright, Quincy Jones, Debra Lee, and Colin Powell.
